Prom Open House!!!

Attention all prom-goers!! Bill’s Toggery is having a Prom Open House on Wednesday, April 14th 5-9p.m. The store will be open late just for you!! There will be actual Tuxedo samples for you to try on before ordering your tux, and there will be plenty of refreshments on hand, along with other prom vendors including: Pearson Florist , Allure Hair Salon , Custom Creations Photography , and First Choice Photography .

We will be there giving away some prizes including an iTunes gift card and a FREE senior session!! We will also be taking applications for our 2011 Senior Models ~ which is going to be SO MUCH FUN! And of course, we will have special offers on Outdoor Prom Photos for your special day!!!

So be sure to stop on in and get fitted for your tux. Bring your date, bring your parents, bring your friends! It’s going to be a fun night at Bill’s Toggery!!

Grad Card Season!

Tis the season for grad card designing!! This past week we had quite a few grad card requests come in and we were busy custom-designing each and every one of them!! Here are a few of the “fronts”. I won’t share the “back” because that has all of their personal information on it!  here ya go!!

The Taylor Family.

Meet the Taylor’s, they were such a wonderful family to work with! Originally it was supposed to be a large family photo, but the other relatives weren’t able to coordinate so it ended up being just a single family. But that’s OK because they were SOoooo easy and wonderful to work with! Their photos turned out fabulous and I just know they’re going to love them! The little guy wouldn’t smile unless I threatened to tickle him, he was just so sweet!! Here is a sneak peek, enjoy!

Out of the Office.

Me and my entire staff will be out of the office until Thurs, April 1st. We are all scattered all over the place, and I think this is the first time the studio has been officially “closed” in probably two years! We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you, but we will be checking voicemails and emails while we are out! So please do drop us a line and we will get back to you on the 1st!! Fabulous Friday!!

This sexy little diva came in this week for a boudoir session. She is going to give him a sexy little album for as a wedding day gift!! Her session completely ROCKED and we have SO many amazing images for her to go thru!! She had her hair and makeup done by the fabulous Nicole Fae , which I recommend to all of my boudoir clients!! It really adds so much to the images, plus it is always so much fun to be pampered by someone else!! Here is a sneak peek from her awesome session!

Meet Nicole Fae!

Nicole is our newest addition at Custom Creations Photography . She is one of our fabulous make-up artists, and can do hair and/or make-up for our clients right in the comfort of our studio.

Nicole is the sole owner and creator of Makeup and Hair by Nicole Fae formerly known as MAKEUPDO, an on-site makeup and hair styling company for photography/film related events such as bridal, portraits,  film, TV, fitness shows and fashion shows. She recently launched her very own line of cosmetics, click HERE to view a short intro video about it!!

She is a pleasure to work with and does a fantastic job with our clients!! If you are considering a Boudoir session with us, I highly encourage you to bring in Nicole for hair and make-up!! If you’re making the investment, you might as well go all-out!! You might also consider her for senior portraits, family portraits, and make-up for your wedding day or prom!!!

Beautiful Boudoir!!

Becky came in this past week to model for me on a new set for my Boudoir sessions.  I just LOVED this outfit that she had on, it is such a perfect example of WHAT to wear for a boudoir session!! Savvy Magazine Shoot at Corset!

I had the privelledge of photographing a great story for the Savvy Magazine. One lucky reader won a “Style Makeover” at Corset in Hopkins. Be sure to check out the April issue for the full story and photos, but for now here is a little sneak peek!

The Minnesota River Flood.

As you may be aware, we have some major flooding going on in Shakopee. The Highway 101 and the Highway 41 bridges to Chaska/EdenPrairie are completely closed due to the flood. Today I was on my way back to the studio from an on-location session and decided to stop and take a few quick photos. The first one is of Excalibur at Valleyfair, it is a little hard to see, but the ride is under water at the bottom. The other photos are of Huber Park in downtown Shakopee.  I know it’s hard to imagine, but the river is “normall” beyond the outter line of trees and down a steep bank!! You can see the white and red signs that are almost completely under water, they say “Steep Bank”! LOL! It is crazy how much water their is, and it isn’t supposed to fully crest under late Wednesday night! But at least no major structures are in danger of flooding, or homes.
