Avery and Kyleigh!!

These two cutie-pies came in for seperate sessions this week as well as some photos together. Their mom’s are good friends and went to high school together and thought it would be super cute to have some fun photos of the two girls together! Miss Avery is a few months older than Miss Kyleigh, and Both girls did great for their sessions, and were SOOOooo cute when we put them together for a shot! You can tell they enjoy being around each other. One never knows what you will get when you put two babies together, but they actually POSED for their shot!! LOVE IT! Here is their sneak peek!!

The Beautiful Berry Family!

This wonderful family came into the studio this week for a family session. Judah is 2 1/2 and was really good, but not quite sure what a “real” smile is yet! It was so cute to watch him go thru different expressions to get to a “smile”!! His little brother Noah who is one month was SOOoooo good! It is truly rare to have a one month old not cry at all during a session! He was alert and content, which we really can’t ask for much more!! It was a really great session and it was so wonderful to get to know the family. They are sincerely sweet people and I enjoyed having them in the studio! I hope to photograph them more in the future as well!!

Boudoir: a Before & After!

Patti came in a few weeks ago for a boudoir session and utilized our hair and makeup artist, Nicole Fae. I highly recommend investing in hair and makeup if you’re going to do a boudoir session. You are likely to only do this type of session once (although I have several clients who keep on coming in to do them, they are kind of addictive!) and you might as well go all the way!!

Boudoir sessions are seriously SO much fun!! Everyone who comes in is nervous, but I promise those nerves will go away within two minutes of starting your session. I just had a client this week who had read that on my website and didn’t believe me! She was shaking like a leaf when she first came in. When I asked her about two minutes into her shoot if she was still nervous she was suprised to answer “NO!” See, toldyaso!!!

We have an all-female staff and a private studio; we have done hundreds of boudoir sessions. There is really nothing to be scared of!! Mommy and Me was a BLAST!

We had SO much FUN this weekend with Mommy and Me sessions!!! We are truly blessed with some wonderful clients and feel so fortunate to get the opportunity to photograph these beautiful people!! Mommy ~ daughter relationships are So beautiful, especially when children grow and grow and grow! Before you know it they’re out of college and on their own!! Yikes!! Little Miss Megan’s Newborn!

This adorable little girl came in as a model for me this past week. She was only 2 weeks old and was totally a little sweetie-pie!! Her mommy works on the Savvy.mn Magazine with me so that is how we met!! Enjoy her sneak peek!

Hunter’s 6 Weeks!

It’s Heeeerrreee… Savvy’s First Issue!!

Oh. My. Gosh! I can’t even begin to describe how incredibly exciting this is for me!! I apologize for the photo quality, but I just was too excited and wanted to get these up right away!! The first issue of Savvy.MN Magazine dropped last night and should be hitting the mailboxes today!! It turned out SOoooo amazing!!!

I feel so incredibly blessed to work with some of the most amazing women on this project! Melissa Gilman the Editor and Jennifer Sorenson the Publisher have been outstanding to work with!!! I am seriously so proud to be working with them on the magazine!!! When I was first approached about being their photographer I was like “seriously?? Pinch me, I must be dreaming!” being a magazine photographer has always been my life-long dream and it is just SOOoo totally exciting for me!!

The first issue I had the opportunity to photograph the feature story about Kate-Madonna Hindes, or more commonly known as Girl Meets Geek ! I also was able to capture the Savvy Makeover as well as the Savvy Launch Party! And even I get a little feature at the end of the magazine called Savvy Seven ~ seven fun facts about your truly!!
