I had the pleasure of photographing Dre’s senior photos this past week. He is a senior at Burnsville High School, and his mother found me as a referral from the Mallery Family that was featured a few weeks ago!! I photographed their wedding three years ago, and have been documenting their family ever since!!
Dre was such a blast in the studio. He is a sharp-dressed-man, which is always a gem to find!! He had some great outfits, and the photos we were able to get are amazing!! I can’t wait for him to see his session!! For now, here is a sneak peek!

I had SO much fun photographing Brett’s Grand Opening last night! She had an AMAZING turnout of friends, family, and clients!! Her team of artists are just the most amazing women, I love every single one of them!!! Her adorable studio is located inside the Semple Mansion in Minneapolis, and the mansion was kind enough to allow them to use the common space for the soiree!! They gave away over $6000 in awesome door prizes (I won a really fantastic one!!) and had yummy food and wine! It was an over success and BLAST! Here is just a little sneak peek of the fun evening!! These two adorable little girls came in this week for their session. Hayley is two, and in typical two-year-old fashion tried to dictate whether or not she was going to take photos! lol. Hayden is 9months (she was 3 months premature so she is small for her age) and was all giggles and smiles!! I just love the expression in the first photo, I think it’s perfect for a holiday card with a theme like “santa’s checking his list” or something cute like that!! Here is a sneak at their session!!

this adorable little sweetie-pie came in today for her three month session!! Her parents told me she was “fussy” and weren’t sure how it was going to go, but she was a total charmer!!! Not a single fuss while she was here!! I also learned that she is the grand-daughter of my favorite Shakopee Valley News and Savvy Magazine ad-rep, Paul!!! Made it all the more special for me to have met and photographed her!! Here is a little peek!!

Jeremy came in for his senior session last week. His mom owns the Pullman Bar in Shakopee, so it was really great getting to know her!! Jeremy is a really wonderful kid, and he had his dog, Lucy, with for the photo shoot! I was warned that Lucy might not cooperate and would probably try to run, but she was a perfect little “angel”. She must have been showing off for us! LOL! Here is a sneak peek of his session!!

I have had the amazing pleasure of working with Brett Dorrian for the past several months as our preferred hair and makeup vendor; she is such a fantastic person to be around and I am so thrilled to have met her!! She is opening her very own studio ( Brett Dorrian Artistry Studios ) in the Semple Mansion in Minneapolis, and is having a big Grand Opening event next week and was in need of a Team Photo!! This adorable little girl came in for her 4 month session last week!! She is on our Baby’s First Year Plan and is just a doll!! I absolutely love her and her family, which is my favorite part about the plan!! I love being able to get to know the entire family and keep seeing them every few months!! Sophia was in a delightful mood and we got a lot of cute laughing and smiling photos!! Here is a little sneak peek!
