Business Portraits.

Last Friday we had our FREE Facebook Photo Friday sessions and most of the clients were using the images for their business use!! I can not stress enough how important a professional business portrait is! In today’s online “visual” society you want to make the best first impression you possibly can.

If I were looking for a vendor and were comparing two sites; one has a professional portrait (looks friendly and welcoming) and one has a photo of them standing in front of a wall (no matter how nice they look), I am most likely going to go with the one who has taken the care and time to have a professional portrait done! and I know I am in the majority it, I am NOT just saying this because I am a photographer 🙂

Isla’s First Birthday Bash!

Oh how I love the smell of birthday cake and baby powder!! And the sight of pink frosting smeared all over a one-year-olds face, arms, legs, feet, well, everywhere!! That’s what a First Birthday Bash is all about!!! and little Miss Isla delivered, that’s for sure!! Here is a small peek into her super fun session!

Meet Bella & Izzy.

These two adorable little ladies came in this past weekend for their photoshoot! They won the Southwest Publishing “Cutest Pet Contest” which I sponsored, therefore earning them a free session and a framed print! they were the sweetest little furry friends, and I enjoyed having them in the studio! (not to mention they discovered the few pieces of cake remnants that were leftover from the First Birthday Bash that was in the studio right before them!!) Here is a sneak peek of Bella and Izzy in their beautiful dresses!! 

Baby Danny!

Meet baby Danny!! I just LOVE newborn sessions , they are definitely at the top of my faves list! Danny was only 9 days old for his session and is absolutely adorable and precious!! His parents are very wonderful clients and I am so excited to watch him grow on the Baby’s First Year Plan !! It is truly beautiful to watch them grow into toddlers and be the one to capture those memories!! Here is a sneak peek of his session, isn’t he the yummiest?!?

FREE Facebook Photo Friday May 13th

That’s right! FREE!! On Friday, May 13th we will be hosting our 2nd Facebook Photo Friday . Last year we completely filled up, so you will want to call right away to reserve your FREE session!! Sessions will be booked between 9a.m.-6p.m. Invite your friends to attend!! (reservations are required!)

What’s included for FREE :
-Mini session (about 7 minutes, 1 outfit)
-Same day viewing appt. to select your FREE photo
-Avatar photo for Facebook (retouched and uploaded to our Fanpage)

What’s not included but you can also purchase :
-Extended session $25 (second outfit, additional 5 minutes)
-Additional Facebook avatar photos $15 each (retouched and uploaded to our Fanpage)
-High Resolution File for your business needs $35 each (retouched and emailed to you, with NO logo or watermark on the image)

All you have to do is call the studio: 952.233.2169 to book your mini session. Nothing is due at this time UNLESS you choose the Extended Session, in which case the $25 fee would be due! Be sure to “like” our Fanpage on facebook , as this will be where the images are loaded afterwards for you to enjoy!

Meet Ryder!

This cutie-pie came in last week for his 9 month session and was SO adorable! He totally hammed it up for the camera, I just wanted to take him home with me!! He was full of smiles and adorable little poses that you just couldn’t even ask for anything better! Here is a sneak peek at his session, enjoy!

The Crotteau Family!

I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful family last week! Traci and I go waaay back to when I used to live in Thief River Falls, MN. She was a television reporter for the Grand Forks station and covered the devastating flood that happened while I lived up there. She moved from MN to Alaska where she lived for almost 10 years before returning to Minnesota! It was SO exciting to see her again and meet her amazing family! I haven’t seen her in probably 13 years, and she is exactly how I remember her! (of course, I am sure Facebook has helped me keep my visual, LOL!) Thank you for allowing me to capture these memories for you Traci!!

DeAndre is One!

Little DeAndre came in last week for his one-year photos and he is SO adorable!! He was totally Mr. Serious which is pretty typical at this age group, but we did manage a few big smiles out of him! Honestly, I like the serious look though! and I love love love his adorable little suit that his grandmother got for him!! Makes him look like a little man!! Here is a sneak peek, enjoy!

Abigail’s First Birthday Bash!

Little Miss Abigail is ONE! It just doesn’t seem possible that she has grown up to a toddler already! Where does the time go?! I have absolutely loved watching her grow, and getting to know her family!! She wasn’t quite so sure about her birthday cake when we first sat her down, she really wanted nothing to do with it! But once she figure out it was FOOD she dove in and went to town! I LOVE LOVE LOVE how her Birthday Bash images turned out! They definitely show her personality and love of cake!!

Liam’s First Birthday Bash.

Oh how time flies! It seems like only yesterday I was photographing Tricia’s pregnancy sessnion , Nolan’s newborn session , Nolan’s first birthday session , Liam’s newborn session and NOW?? Liam’s First Birthday session !

It is so amazing to watch these little guys grow as well as watching the family grow! I believe they are starting to work on #3 (and sounds like they’re trying for a girl this time around!) This is the truly awesome part about my job: really getting to know a family and watching them grow! I just know that in about 15 years i’ll be photographing Nolan’s senior photos ! and that my friend is what I love what I do!
