A Friends Session.
Last week these beautiful girls came in for a fun session. Two of them are cousins and one of them is a good friend, and together they create a beautiful friendship! They were SOOOOoooo much fun to work with, and total photogenic little divas in the making! I just had to share an image from the session!!
A Sizzlin’ Boudoir Session.
HOT HOT HOT! That’s all I can say about yesterday’s sizzlin’ hot boudoir session !! We had a the pleasure of photographing one of our state’s law enforcement officers and it was HOT (and we’re not talking about the 103 temperatures outside)! Due to the nature of what she does, we are not revealing her face and blurring out her information in these images to respect her privacy! But I think you get the idea of how HOT it was!! She was a totaly and complete BLAST to have in the studio, and the man in her life is going to be totally suprised and delighted with her fantastic images!

On Friday, WCCO News ran a beautiful segment featuring my sister’s partner, Rev. Amy DeLong . The talented and lovely Rachel Slavik from WCCO told Amy’s story in a beautiful and positive piece that you can watch if you click: HERE . Amy is on trial in the Methodist Church because she performed a same-sex marriage and because she herself is an openly-gay pastor. Amy states in her interview: “I fell in love with my partner at the same time I fell in love with my church.”
I will be in Kaukauna, WI the week of June 20th documenting the trial and offering my unconditional support in the one way that I best know how ~ through photojournalism ! I will be blogging every day from the trial, I am going to open myself up and dish out my heart to my readers in an effort of raising awareness about what is happening in our country ~ especially in light of the gay marriage ban that the MN senate is currently trying to pass on our upcoming election ballots. I am going to talk about some of my own personal life struggles, my family, my past, and most importantly, of my sister’s loving relationship and how much it means to me to see them make history during that week.

Greta’s Newborn Session!
We just love the itty bitty babies here at Custom Creations Photography , and Greta definitely takes the cake in “cuteness factor”. I work with her mommy on Savvy Magazine and was so excited to photograph this little peanut while she was still so tiny for her newborn session !! Griffin’s Two Year Session.
Little Griffin came in last week along with his brand new baby sister, Greta, who had her newborn session done! He wasn’t quite so sure about photos, and really only wanted to play with his phone, but we managed to get a couple killer shots! Two year olds are notoriously unpredictable and I am always super stoked when I get at least one image as cute as this one!!

Fabulous Friday!
On Monday I taught a Boudoir class to a group of amazing photographers! My lovely model was Sarah and she was absolutely stunning (and totally rocked it in front of a dozen onlookers!)!! Brett Dorrian graciously volunteered hair and makeup, which was stellar as always!! Here is a preview of what I shot at the session, as well as some images taken by Donae Cotton Photography of me teaching the class!!
