Boudoir Holiday Deadlines!

Please note that you MUST schedule your boudoir session before November 18th to ensure Christmas delivery of Albums  (please note that some products may not be available for holiday delivery).

If you are thinking of a Valentine’s gift, you will want to make sure you book by the end of December to ensure prompt deliver (Amy is out of the studio for a few weeks in January, so that moves the deadline up into December).

Halloween Spooktacular!!

We will be hosting our annual Halloween Spooktacular on Monday, Oct. 31st at the studio 4-6 p.m. Receive a free session and 5×5 fine a rt print of your little ghost or gobblin in their costume with the donation of a food item for the CAP Agency . There will also be a $10 cash prize for the best costume!! No appointments necessary, just stroll on in! We can’t wait to see you there!

Mini Boudoir Sessions

I know it’s hard to believe, but Christmas is right around the corner. We are offering only 6 slots for mini boudoir sessions on Sat. FREE Facebook Photo Friday

We will once again be holding a FREE Facebook Photo Friday on October 14th!! Yes, you heard it right, FREE!! All you need to do is call and reserve your session time!! Sessions are just a quick 5 minutes, and you will view and select your free Facebook profile image right after your session! You may also purchase prints, high res digital files, and additional Facebook photos if you like, but you are under NO obligation to purchase ANYTHING!!

Jennifer & Jake’s Wedding

This past weekend I had the distinct pleasure of photographing an amazing wedding at the North Shore Westin in Chicago!! They had every single detail taken care of in amazing class, it was absolutely stunning!! Thanks to Oliveaire for decorating, coordinating and taking care of all the floral arrangements. It was SO beautiful in the ballroom!!

My photographer friend Mark Teskey was looking for a second shooter he could trust on this wedding, and since I was already in Chicago for a wedding the weekend before and was staying the week with friends, I thought it would be a great opportunity to document another great Chicago wedding and boy am I glad I did! Mark is a pleasure to second shoot with, makes both of our jobs so much easier!! The wedding, the day, the couple, the ceremony, just absolutely everything about the day was amazing! Here is a sneak peek at some of the images I captured!

Zoe’s Dance Photos

My dear friend and former college roommate graciously allowed me to stay with her and her family for a week while I was in Chicago for a Union Ceremony, Wedding, and Fashion Shoot. In return for their generous hospitality I offered to photography her oldest daughter, Zoe, in her new Pointe dance positions. Zoe looks absolutely beautiful in her graceful moves while dancing, it was so easy to photograph her! Thank you Michelle, Bob, Zoe, Quetzie and Cheznie for allowing me to stay with you this week! It was a wonderful time and I will see you all again SOON!! MUAH!!!  

Tom & Liz’s Wedding

Tom and Liz were married on the North Shore at Split Rock Beach Labor Day weekend and I had the pleasure and honor of photographing their special day!

Tom is a photography instructor at Hennepin T ech and him and Liz own Posers Photography in the Twin Cities. I have known Tom for several years and got to know him pretty well while I was President of the Twin Cities Professional Photographers Association and he was my go-to guy at the school where we held our meetings. I honestly didn’t know Liz very well, and was only Facebook friends with her until they asked to meet with me to photograph their wedding. It is always a little nerve-wrecking to have another photographer interview you about their wedding photos, let alone TWO of them!! It was a total honor to have them select me from the literally hundreds of photographers they know here in the cities.

Since they booked their wedding with me, I also had the pleasure of photographing their engagement session as well as Liz’s boudoir session and also Tom’s son’s wedding! I have gotten to know both of them very well, and they have become close friends of mine that I cherish very much. Their wedding was so special and beautiful I wanted to make sure I captured it exactly how they had it invisioned!! They had a small wedding and were surrounded by close friends and family, it was absolutely beautiful (although it did downpour about an hour before the wedding, but as you can see the skies cleared and the sky became bright blue!). Liz was one of the most beautiful brides I have ever seen, and the two of them are so stinking in love it is heartwarming!! Here is a sneak peek, I hope you enjoy!! I love you both so very much, thanks for being there for me and for allowing me to be there for YOU!!
