We will once again be holding a Cutest Kid contest in the month of March.

Proceeds from this contest will go to Lasting Imprint, an organization that is near and dear to my heart. Several years ago I received a call from one of my wonderful clients asking if I would consider photographing his two month photos in the hospital, as their little baby David wasn’t able to go home yet. He was born with a congenital heart defect. Of course I said YES! and am I ever glad I did. Little David went to heaven several weeks after the session. I will never forget the day his mommy called the studio….. Mandee had answered the phone and I saw her face go pale as she said “I am so sorry to hear that”…… she hung up the phone and told me what happened with tears in her eyes and we both started crying. He definitely will forever hold a place in my heart!!

David’s mom helped start an organization called Lasting Imprint :

Lasting Imprint is a non-profit corporation established by individuals committed to fighting congenital heart defects (CHD). Our inspiration comes from the big hearts of the children and adults that have fought and continue to fight CHD every day. Their hearts have touched ours and it is our hope that you join us in our efforts to leave a lasting imprint on the CHD community.

Our Vision:  To Heal All Broken Hearts

Our Mission:  Lasting Imprint exists to create a supportive community that will inspire people to join in the fight against congenital heart defects through education, research, and assistance to heart families.

The Cutest Kid contest works like this: $25 entry per child, and includes a $20 print credit and mini session. Photos will be taken March 4-21st with online voting taking place March 25-29. Winners receive a cash prize as well as some other goodies we are rounding up!!! There is no purchase necessary, however, we will be offering our low-cost “sheet” pricing to all individuals! 10% of all proceeds will go directly to Lasting Imprint!!!
