I have been photographing weddings since 1997 and absolutely LOVE working with brides and grooms on their most special day!!  The joy, love, and emotions that ooze out of the couples make my heart sing 🙂 It is always such a happy, joyous day and it is truly infectious. I have been known to shed a tear or two during a ceremony or first sight photos!! I love getting to know my clients….. many have become great friends over the years!!

I specialize in small, intimate weddings; but am happy to work with weddings of all sizes and budgets!

My journey in photography began at a very young age. I always knew I wanted to be a photographer, and took my dream to the next level in 1997 when I decided to start photographing weddings. In 2004 I officially opened my first storefront studio in Shakopee, moved to St. Paul in 2013, and I haven’t looked back once! I love what I do and the people I work with!! I have amazing clients and awesome employees who help me with my workflow! I describe my style as traditional with a modern twist, I strive to capture the details and emotions in your wedding day, as well as creating stunning images you will cherish for a lifetime!

In 2015 I received Best of Show and Judges Choice awards for my piece in the Twin Cities Pride Juried Art Show. In 2011 I was named Third Place Wedding Photographer of the Year by the Twin Cities Professional Photographers Association, as well as Second Place Wedding Photographer of the Year in 2010. In 2014 two of my photos were accepted into the Twin Cities Pride Juried Art Exhibit! I have also won numerous awards for my individual wedding images and wedding album designs. I am actively seeking out education to stay on the cutting edge of our industry.

If you hire me to photograph your wedding trust in the fact that I have:

– backup equipment,
– the ability to wear many hats (I have had to fix broken tuxes and shoes, put flowers on the groomsmen, fix a cake, act as wedding coordinator, and so much more!!)
– I will do my best to keep everyone in check and on schedule, and have no problem taking control of the situation if a groomsman or family member gets unruly 😉

I also want to make it very clear that I am a gay marriage supporter, and my studio is LGBT friendly! I have a lesbian sister and proudly support and love her <3 and was honored to photograph her legal marriage on Aug. 2, 2014!!

$500 deposit, balance due 3 weeks prior to wedding date.

The Classic $2000
6 hours coverage and digital files. Also includes an engagement session with photo guestbook.
$800 deposit. $800 due three MONTHS prior and balance due three WEEKS prior to the wedding date.

The Elegant $3500
8 hours coverage with two photographers and digital files, and a 10×10 custom designed wedding album.. Also includes an engagement session with photo guestbook.
$1000 deposit. $1000 due three MONTHS prior and balance due three WEEKS prior to the wedding date.
