Shara & Chris = Married | Twin Cities Wedding Photographer

Sep• 13•12

This past weekend I had the pleasure of photographing Shara and Chris’ gorgeous wedding. They had the most perfect weather for their day, including bright blue skies and white whispy clouds.

They were surrounded by truly amazing family and friends. I have to say they were by far one of the easiest groups I have had to work, and they were a large group! It makes my job so much easier when everyone is on time and cooperative, even the guys didn’t complain once (that I heard at least!)

I have known Shara for several years through a mutual friend, so her wedding day felt very comfortable and easy for me. It is so simple to see that her and Chris are an amazing  couple, and that makes my job SO easy!! Chris kept saying how he hates having his photo taken, but man did he rock it!!

I had some extra time in their wedding schedule to play around with some fun lighting and creative stuff. And we were totally blessed with a rockin sunset during the reception!!

A big thank you to Rousey Johnson III for being my assistant!! and to some of the other great vendors: Buttercream, Waconia Ballroom & Lancer Catering.

Thank you Shara & Chris for having me be a part of your wonderful day 🙂

What beautiful shots! These are awesome!

  2. Love these shots. My favorites are the group shot by the lake, bride all alone and bride and groom dancing! You said this group was easy to work with. But I’m sure you’ve had some doozies…How do you wrangle a more unruly group?

So gorgeous….how do you manage to capture the love and tenderness, even in a large group like this??? How much do you really “pose” people, or just let them do their thing?

I would have to say this album is by far my favorite. Each picture is so stunningly perfect. I absolutely love everyone jumping for joy on the beach. You can tell you work from a place of spiritual inspiration. ♥
