A fine art collection by, Amy Zellmer:

embraced & empowered

This is a personal project that I have been working on for several years.
The purpose of this collection is to empower everyone to embrace their bodies, imperfections and all.

We live in a society that has a heavy emphasis on being thin, beautiful, and perfect. What I want for every single person is to feel comfortable in their own skin. To see how beautiful they really are. To love themselves exactly how they are. We all have imperfections, and it is up to ourselves to embrace these imperfections and become empowered over our bodies.

“You, yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection.”¬†Buddha

The embodied mind thesis holds that the nature of the human mind is largely determined by the form of the human body
